PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

Vukašin Miljković holds a Master's Degree in Classical Philology at the University of Belgrade, Serbia. Due to his interest in the active study methods of Latin and Ancient Greek, he spent a year at the Accademia Vivarium Novum learning to speak Latin and Ancient Greek. Since his philhellenism does not end with classical antiquity, he spent a year studying Modern Greek as well at the University of Ioannina, Greece, where he attained high proficiency in Modern Greek. Vukašin also took part in an exchange program organized by the US Department of State which enabled him to spend a year at the University of Texas at Austin, studying the two western classical languages as well as Sanskrit. His teaching experience includes high-school level and university level courses in Greek and Latin, both in classroom and online, summer intensives, as well as conventional language courses. He has also taught in various summer school programs, most of which wee exclusively in the target languages. When it comes to the Classics, his interests include, but are not limited to: historiography, rhetoric, comedy, grammar, atticist style, as well as post-classical language development. In his free time, he's also studying Biblical Hebrew and Classical Chinese.
